I've been remiss! Not that I haven't had anything to write about, but it's that I haven't had anything to write about that's interesting. Trust me...it's a constant bitch about hubby, and all anyone would do is say "then why do you stay?" if I wrote.
I have enjoyed reading about the stylings and drippings over at Cookin With Jazz. Was it TNT that played Dinner and a Movie? "Beans and cornbread had a fight, beans knocked cornbread outta sight. Beans told corn bread 'That's alright'....." dontcha love that??
Well, she was right about dinner at the Angler's Inn in Mountain View...gawd! It was an awful salad! Our next trip made up for it all though - Memphis was tha shiznit, eh? Had a great time and the music was fabu, not to mention the food. I spent a fair amount of time at the 'smokin' yearn' and surfin' the net while everyone else was sleeping since I'm an early bird - big thanks to Secret, our front desk clerk at the Airport Marriott! You know you my gurl! Graceland was much fun, and the best part was that mom was so excited to go. I don't know whether she was excited to go to Graceland, or just to get away with us, but I believe she had a great time. Mission accomplished.
Before I close, I must say congratulations to Heather on her new baby and on #26...how cool is that??
